The People function is critical in driving that effort by executing Mixpanel’s people initiatives, acting as strategic advisors to the executive team and senior leadership, and providing superior internal support while driving HR operational excellence.

About the Role

Mixpanel’s People Team focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining premier talent. As a Senior HR Generalist, APAC, you will play a key role in managing the daily HR operations in our offices around Asia, and supporting People programs and culture to cultivate an environment that keeps Mixpanelers growing, productive, and happy. Working closely with business leaders, you will provide strategic and tactical HR consultation to optimize people, structure, and processes with the goal of achieving superior business results.

This role will report to our Manager, People & Employee Experience. You will interface directly with the APAC teams and partner with all of our People functions to provide best-in-class People and culture!

The ideal candidate is an experienced consultant with a broad understanding of all areas of HR. You will have experience influencing leaders in a fast-paced environment and the interpersonal savvy required to drive human resource strategies and programs in a global workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively collaborate with leaders in APAC to build, lead, and grow high-performing teams.
  • Effectively collaborate with other members of the People Team to contribute to the design and delivery of innovative people programs that continually elevate the caliber of Mixpanel employees.
  • Work on all aspects of change management, from strategy and design to implementation and communications.
  • Monitor and evaluate our feedback channels and contribute to the design, development, and execution of initiatives to optimize the employee experience.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations matters in a way that balances company, internal, and external stakeholder considerations.
  • Responsible for leading new hire training, administering electronic paperwork, visa application verifications, data entry into HR systems, and processing benefit enrollments.
  • Assist the People team with offboarding employees by communicating with employees, managers, and payroll on upcoming departures and tasks.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR matters in a timely manner consistent with our Customer Focus on employee experience.
  • Help with benefits analysis, carrier selections, and roll-out offerings to employees.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and records electronically.
  • Help with social gatherings organization and act as an Office Manager when necessary.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations in India, APAC
  • Experience working on an HR team with regional expertise (India, Singapore, etc…)
  • BA or equivalent work experience with an average of 4+ years in an HRBP role supporting a customer-facing organization.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills, strong proofreading skills with attention to detail, and a self-starter; proficiency with G-Suite.
  • You are an excellent communicator and collaborator with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and deep empathy for individuals, allowing resolution of tricky people situations in a balanced and thoughtful way.
  • You are experienced in multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment; adaptable, agile, and resilient. You embrace change, can move quickly, and are highly resilient when things are ambiguous.
