THE ROLE

At the heart of our employee experience is the Senior HR Operations Specialist. We are building the operational backbone that allows our people to do their best work. As a Senior HR Operations Specialist, you are a high-impact contributor who brings solid professional expertise and a rigorous approach to a regional landscape that is fast-paced, complex, and ever-evolving.

You don’t just follow processes, you own them. You are the subject matter expert (SME) who manages complex employee and manager cases, leads regional process and system enhancements, and partners closely with HRBPs, Payroll, HR People Technology, and other HR Centers of Excellence to ensure from the moment an employee joins to the day they move on to their next adventure, their journey is seamless, compliant, and powered by world-class technology.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operational Excellence
  • SME Ownership: Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert for multiple EMEA life-cycle processes, demonstrating a deep, solid knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow to audit and execute high-volume transactions with precision.
  • Data Integrity: Own the accuracy of our SOPs and HR data. You don’t just maintain them; you improve documentation and data quality, translating complex policy and system logic into clear, actionable guidance for a global workforce.
  • Complex Case Management: Navigate Tier 2 inquiries with a high degree of integrity and good judgment. While you have the autonomy to make decisions on moderate-scope assignments, you know exactly when to escalate complex issues to ensure workflow remains fluid.
Strategic Problem Solving
  • Root Cause Analysis: When a process breaks, you don’t just patch it—you analyze the problem, identify the root cause, and proposeeffective, scalable solutions.
  • Proactive Optimization: Identify recurring gaps in the HR roadmap and lead continuous improvement projects. You will drive UAT scripts and process standardization that enhance service delivery across the region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HRBPs, Payroll, and HR Technology to lead programs that bridge the gap between global strategy and local statutory requirements.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of HR experience in an international, matrixed environment.
  • Technical Command: Advanced proficiency in Workday and ServiceNow/HRSD. You should be comfortable extracting and interpreting data to drive operational insights.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets with an ability to turn raw data into a narrative that informs decision-making.
  • Urgency & Self-Reliance: You are deadline-driven, persistent, and self-motivated. You possess the initiative to solve problems independently while knowing how to leverage your resources effectively.
  • Communication Mastery: You communicate with thoughtfulness and sophistication across different functions, geographies, and levels of seniority.
  • Knowledge Sharing: You don’t gatekeep information; you proactively advise and share your domain expertise to elevate the entire HR Ops team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of EMEA-specific leave (Sick, Parental, Absence) and benefits.
  • Direct experience contributing to UAT and requirements gathering for HR system enhancements.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of Workday configuration.
  • Knowledge of French/German/Spanish language.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
