The Senior Integrations Engineer on the Engineering team is responsible for the implementation, design, architecture and quality control of the 3rd party integrations that support the Edwin AIOPS platform. We are looking for an enthusiastic software engineer with a good understanding of ITOM/ITSM tooling to design and implement a range of data integrations required for our AIOPS solution.

A successful Sr. Data Engineer will produce all required functionality in a timely manner and will communicate and work with colleagues to solve problems and improve the systems they work with. Furthermore, the Sr. Data Engineer should have a deep understanding and knowledge of the ITOM/ITSM ecosystem and the systems they are working with, to the point that they can build quality and robust integrations across alerting, data and workflow (e.g Incident Management).

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the 3rd party systems to be integrated (state models, alert formats, integration options)
  • Design, document, code, and test technical solution for new integrations into ecosystem tools within the ITOM/ITSM domains.
  • Working with various teams in LogicMonitor to deliver software products that support LogicMonitor's business growth.
  • Coach and lead other team members from a technical perspective in design and implementation.
  • Envision system features and functionalities by analysing business requirements.  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product/application issues for escalated support cases. 
  • Collaborate with a diverse, distributed development organisation. Our development team spans multiple cities in the US, UK and Asia.
  • Ability to tackle performance and design issues at a deep technical level.
  • Understanding and improvement of development process and application deployment

What You'll Need:

  • 6+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise applications.
  • 4+ years of full-time Java development. Writing clean, maintainable and well tested code. With a drive for modern software engineering approaches
  • Good working knowledge of log management and monitoring systems such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc.
  • Expertise at building, deploying and scaling integrations with ITOM/ITSM tooling.
  • Ability to write maintainable and deploy well-tested production code.
  • Familiarity with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Ability to work with a development team and develop strong, reliable, and effective relationships with team members
  • Excellent in communication (written and verbal) and collaboration with other functional teams (Support Engineering, Tools, Product, etc.).
  • Degree or higher in computer science or related field
