We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join our Engagement team in the heart of buzzing Berlin!

We are personalising the user journey, helping our learners form a language learning habit to achieve their learning goals. As an iOS Engineer in our product team you will be an active part of the discovery process, helping us explore new and existing challenges, interview users, and define solutions to deliver the product our learners love to use. Your responsibilities within the team will also be helping you grow on your professional journey.

You will:

• Support in all phases of app development from planning to implementing and testing

• Collaborate cross-functionally to inform API design and architectural decisions

• Maintain and make use of a good overview of the overall technology stack and infrastructure

• Independently focus on continuous learning and improvement and drive the evolution of our engineering practices

• Work in a cross-functional and agile environment

You have:

• At least 3 years of experience with iOS development

• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional mobile development team

• Ability to work in a lean and agile environment (e.g. with SCRUM)

• Excellent understanding of online mobile platforms and their unique features concerning technology and user experience

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Expertise in Swift

• Ability to find the right balance between time-to-delivery and quality (this is key!)

• Fluency in written and spoken English
