As the Senior Learning Experience Designer APAC, you will design, develop, and deploy highly effective global learning programs, content, and experiences while leading our regional APAC L&D portfolio.

Your expertise in developing strategic learning experiences is essential as you lead learning activities, ensuring quality outcomes and closing capability gaps.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

 

Global L&D:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal experts and vendors on designing and deploying learning projects, utilising best practices. 
  • Collaborate with business leaders and the People team to understand employee needs and align with organisational goals and performance metrics.
  • Contribute multiple on-brief conceptual ideas to address global learning challenges with a holistic view and deep understanding of learner needs. 
  • Partner with the Senior Global L&D Manager to design and deliver scalable, engaging training programs, modules, and learning experiences for learners across regions.
  • Focus on crafting inclusive learning content and experiences resonating with diverse audiences.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive training evaluation frameworks, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and business outcomes. Collect, analyse, and communicate metrics to measure performance and impact. 
  • Continuously evolve and optimise learning experiences based on feedback, lessons learned, and changes in the landscape. 
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning team to develop knowledge libraries and learning collateral, and enhance our ways of working.
  • Strategically use learning technologies to improve training efficiency and effectiveness, staying informed about emerging learning technologies.
  • Acts as a leader in the Global L&D team, driving the development of global learning initiatives and upskilling the team. 
  • Proactively seek opportunities and projects beyond their expected duties.

 

APAC L&D:

  • Provide advisory and consultative support for APAC L&D offerings, serving as the first point of contact for APAC L&D queries and activities. 
  • Lead training design, development, and delivery with a nuanced understanding of cultural considerations across APAC regions.
  • Develop and implement DEIB training initiatives, measuring impact and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with executives and senior leadership in each studio to inform learning prioritisation and portfolio of offerings.
  • Manages training budget distribution across APAC geographies.

 

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • Demonstrated experience in instructional and experience design, and learning and development.
  • Proven expertise in ideation, coordination, support, and evaluating learning effectiveness. 
  • Strong problem solving skills with a focus on anticipating consequences and overcoming obstacles. 
  • Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while also excelling in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and resource optimisation.
  • Strategic thinker adept in design aesthetics, excelling in innovative digital communications, implements a ‘launch and learn’ approach, conducting experiments and developing rapid prototypes to enhance the learning experience iteratively.
  • Advanced presentation skills for designing and delivering internally to employees and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Proactive approach to professional development, staying updated with industry trends and new learning tools.  
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Articulate RISE, Creative Cloud, Figma, and Miro, and others.
