As a key part of Trustpilot’s broader ‘Trust & Safety’ team, we play a key role in supporting Trustpilot’s mission to become a universal symbol of trust. This is an important role with the scope to make a real impact, so we’d love to hear from strong, committed individuals who relish a challenge and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in!
This role is based in our London office. Flexible working available, working 2 days a week in our office.
What you’ll be doing:
- Defended Disputes: Lead on and oversee disputes around the world and across a wide-range of legal issues, including defamation and regulatory compliance.
- Create, develop and implement litigation strategies based on Trustpilot’s values and the legal landscape in Trustpilot’s key markets, including the UK,US, France and Germany.
- Identifying and implementing new, innovative and automated ways of working, utilising technology to scale and drive greater operational efficiencies
- Pro-active Litigation (Claimant side): Lead and guide the team in bringing claims against “bad-actor” businesses who attempt to undermine the integrity of our platform.
- Intellectual Property: Assist with the protection of Trustpilot’s IP portfolio by taking action against infringement and making strategic registrations to protect new assets.
Regulatory Compliance: Advise and support the development of the platform to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Policy Development: Facilitate the creation, implementation and review of internal policies to safeguard the integrity of our platform.
Who you are:
- UK qualified 6+ years PQE with in-house experience
- Litigation experience is essential.
- Someone who is confident and able to think big, but execute on a granular level
- You’re able to communicate complex matters in simple terms
- You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, global organisation.
What’s in it for you:
- A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you
- Competitive compensation package + bonus
- 28 days holiday plus two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community
