📣  A bit about the role.

We’re looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join our squad at an exciting time in our hyper-growth journey, with further international expansion on the horizon. This role would suit a proactive candidate who is ready to step up in their career, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and eager to be part of a business where they can have a tangible positive impact.

This role will be working within the Core Finance team and will be heavily involved in all key accounting and reporting activities, with a focus on effective financial management and ensuring a robust control environment that allows us to scale sustainably.

This role will report to our Head of Finance but it will work closely with a wider range of stakeholders across the business.

This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility with some work-from-home days each week. We expect you to spend a minimum of 2 days at the Box Office in White City - London, with the possibility of occasional travel to other locations as your role evolves. What you’ll do:

  • Be given a high level of responsibility from day one for the delivery of internal and external reporting.
  • Proactively identify key financial risks and be tasked with exploring ways of mitigating them.
  • Support our period close work across the business, managing deadlines and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Manage our financial controls processes, ensuring robust balance sheet control and support throughout the external audit process.
  • Help to drive Finance systems improvements as the business continues to scale and grow.
  • Work with different business stakeholders to help explore and understand deviations from budget and provide commercial support.
  • Look to help improve our current processes and ways of working.

👋  A bit about you. 

Professional Qualifications (essential):

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA-qualified accountant.
  • Exposure to financial controls and a reporting background.

Attitude and Communication (essential):

  • Proactive and self-starter attitude towards work.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to diverse stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

Essential:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to work towards deadlines.

Desirable

  • Experience with SAP B1
  • Experience in an audit environment / Big 4
