We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Global Demand Generation to join our growing Global Demand Generation team and transform how we bring MongoDB to market. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Global Demand Generation, the Senior Manager will lead the Global Demand Generation strategy that is central to orchestrating global campaign execution with regional peers in North America, EMEA, and APAC. The Senior Manager will manage a small team to 1/ develop a global webinar strategy that aligns with overall business goals and messaging, consistent execution, globalization, analyzing performance metrics and improving overall effectiveness 2 / support campaign managers in planning and executing marketing campaigns across various channels such as digital, social media, email, and traditional media and 3/ drive global scale while working in a coordinated and collaborative way with peers in Global Integrated Campaigns (GIC) and Field Marketing.

This role will also work closely across marketing including but not limited to Digital & Growth Marketing, Dev Rel, Strategic Marketing, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, and Customer Success. This is a critical role for the company that will greatly impact the business.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include:
  • Manage a team consisting of three marketing specialists in North America and EMEA
  • Own KPIs to measure the effectiveness of GDC initiatives providing regular performance updates to key stakeholders
  • Build and execute a truly global webinar program, owning the webinar editorial calendar across the globe
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Database Marketing
  • in developing a global marketing email strategy that incorporates regional considerations for testing, CTAs, localization, and more.
  • Work closely with Sr. Campaign Managers and the Digital Acquisition team to create and execute a paid media plan that reflects the interests and needs of a global audience and meets them where they are and in their preferred language.
  • Ensure the global strategy remains relevant in local markets by collaborating closely with regional FMs and adopting a global first approach. 
  • Foster a strong partnership amongst broader marketing, sales, operations, and products, ensuring stakeholders understand demand gen strategy, campaigns, and impact.
  • Use analytical insights to continuously test campaign components such as subject lines, calls to action, etc.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years experience in field marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing
  • Experience hiring and managing junior to mid-level marketers 
  • Prior experience running a global webinar program 
  • Prior experience building, or working in, Demand Generation
  • Past experience setting up new functions from scratch 
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience dealing with localization 
  • Data-driven marketer with hands-on technical knowledge in understanding data to guide decision-making
  • Expert level user in Tableau, Sigma, SFDC, Eloqua, Wrike, 6sense
  • Extensive experience with webinar programs and email marketing 
  • Strategic thinker with project management experience 
  • Good relationship management skills to drive cross-departmental coordination on marketing campaigns
  • Prior MongoDB experience is a major bonus
  • B.S. in Marketing preferred

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$92,000—$182,000 USD
