Our Opportunity:

Chewy is searching for a Senior Manager of Employer Branding. This digital marketing leadership role is a part of our award-winning Employer Branding team in Boston, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing social media strategies and content to live on our Employer Branding Social Media channels (#LifeAtChewy). You will craft content calendars and creative briefs and create an omnichannel distribution strategy. Additionally, the opportunity to support the exciting launch and deployment of Chewy's first employee advocacy program and will define platform strategies, creative execution, and reporting mechanisms, working collaboratively with PR, DEI, Internal Communications, Customer Service, and Creative Marketing partners.

 

This position, reporting to the Associate Director, Employment Branding, will be integral in bringing Chewy's mission, culture, and Operating Principles to life for Team Members, candidates, and social followers.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Build and deliver external communications social strategy that amplifies Chewy culture, activates and connects employees, embeds our Operating Principles, and raises awareness of opportunities to #RunWithThePack
  • Identify opportunities to cross-promote and amplify internal Life@Chewy engagement events with cross-functional teams, including Talent Engagement, PR, and Internal Communications
  • Build high-performing teams, managing an Employer Brand Analyst who serves as a social media coordinator and community manager, helping to deliver monthly content planning and Sprinklr scheduling
  • Partner with the Talent Engagement team to build a best-in-class employee social media ambassador and thought leadership program to enable, support, and empower employees and leaders at all levels to use social media to create connections with the audiences and customers that matter
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing and social response teams, including Consumer Social, Chewy Health, Customer Service, Brand, and Performance, to ensure seamless Customer First communication and coordination in a decentralized social landscape
  • Write creative briefs, define program objectives, and develop KPIs for campaigns and content series, working with our Employer Brand Digital Content Designer, internal Chewy Marketing Studios partners, and external agencies to scale creative and channel
  • Implement engagement KPIs and metrics to grow our channels, measure the impact of our initiatives, and provide real-time insights into the success of our culture, engagement, and communications
  • Develop and scale the future Chewy Careers/Culture blog, including identifying teams, stories, and Chewy news features and partners

 

What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years of digital strategy experience; proven social media expertise in organic and paid social
  • Experience as an influential people leader
  • Fluent in social/creative testing methodologies, editorial content planning, and publishing, with strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience managing and owning messaging strategy, asset creation, communications planning, and cross-channel dissemination
  • Strong ability to manage vendors and first and third-party data sources, including Sprinklr, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Travel for onsite participation in company meetings and events at various hubs and sites across our enterprise may be required

Compensation & Benefits:

Our pay range for a Manager, Employment Branding III position is $110,500.00 - $176,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
