Fastly helps people stay better connected with the things they love. Fastly’s edge cloud platform enables customers to create great digital experiences quickly, securely, and reliably by processing, serving, and securing our customers’ applications as close to their end-users as possible — at the edge of the Internet. The platform is designed to take advantage of the modern internet, to be programmable, and to support agile software development. Fastly’s customers include many of the world’s most prominent companies, including Vimeo, Pinterest, The New York Times, and GitHub.

We're building a more trustworthy Internet. Come join us.

The Customer Usage Pipeline Systems (CUPS) team maintains a global, real time pipeline to measure Fastly customer usage across the Internet. This pipeline is used for business and operational decisions and directly supports company revenue. The team has experienced an order of magnitude growth in data volume over the past three years. We maintain multi-region storage and satisfy low latency requirements for Fastly’s real-time observability API and low loss message delivery for historical observability, revenue systems, and operational visibility. Together with the team, you will create solutions to meet the scalability challenges that come with sustained organizational growth.

As a leader, you will support the team responsible for the continued success and evolution of this pipeline. You will partner with other engineering and product teams, encouraging an inclusive and cohesive team environment, while nurturing a team that enables engineers to build, deliver and operate high-quality, scalable systems.

When you close your laptop at the end of the day, you will smile at the impact you had. Today, you were a part of keeping the internet fast, safe, and engaging.
