ThoughtSpot is hiring a Senior Field Marketing Manager to partner with our sales and global marketing teams to generate and accelerate pipeline for it’s next generation analytics platform, powered by Relational Search.

As the Senior Manager of Field Marketing, you will be responsible for generating pipeline for one of our  three major regions in North America (East, Central, West). You will be paired with one of three Regional sales leaders and expected to lead all regionally-based pipe creation and acceleration activities for that region.

You will also work closely with the global marketing team and have the opportunity to lead the planning and execution of a number of large scale global events for the company (user conferences, industry events, etc).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop regional field marketing plan and programs that help acquire new customers and accelerate deals.
  • Understand territory goals, performance targets, key accounts, and regional sales plays.
  • Execute marketing programs designed to meet sales objectives, including regional events, local events, campaigns, customer communication, and contact acquisition.
  • Act as primary marketing contact for Regional Sales leaders, participate in sales team calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions.
  • Execute events with pipe-gen mindset, operational rigor, and close attention to detail - with 80% of focus going toward pre-event demand gen and post event follow-up.  
  • Regularly communicate results using detailed KPIs.
  • Partner with Product Marketing for competitive intelligence, creation of field communications and campaign assets for sales.
  • Work with Demand Generation team to expand contacts, develop campaign assets, and promote sales development strategies by segment and vertical.
  • Engage top customers in the region to attend events and participate in marketing activities (campaigns, press, testimonials).
  • Work with the Partner team to understand sales opportunities and help drive programs to increase partner engagement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a high-tech B2B demand generation or field marketing role.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' of leadership experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or comparable education/experience.
  • Proven track record of creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, digital advertising, and social networking.
  • Experience building, launching, and reporting on campaigns using Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Track record of developing and managing multiple marketing programs simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the B2B purchase process and how to identify opportunities to create demand and help accelerate opportunities.
  • Experience with targeting,segmentation and list acquisition to build prospect lists for demand gen campaigns
  • Strong understanding of how to use inbound marketing and content marketing to generate more qualified leads.
  • Familiarity with the technology sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth.
