The Community You Will Join: 

The Stays Supply team plays a critical role in ensuring Airbnb secures a diverse and high-quality supply of stays listings. Efforts are aimed at meeting the expectations of guests by ensuring a wide offering of high-quality listings at compelling values are available for every search. Additionally, the Stays Supply team serves the needs of their global hosts by supporting more efficient planning and execution of growth strategies in a way that resonates with Airbnb’s communities.

The Difference You Will Make:

In this position you will lead a team of market managers and be responsible for the end-to-end strategy for supply acquisition, host quality, account management and listing optimization in the assigned markets. This role will cover the West Territory.

A Typical Day: 

  • Lead a team of Market Managers responsible for maximizing partner relationships with Airbnb Homes Hosts and achieving KPIs and business performance goals. Guide Market Managers on territory and local strategies for supply optimization and acquisition.
  • Autonomously set priorities, develop supply strategy plans and assign resources for areas managed.
  • Be accountable for the business performance of the assigned territory, including meeting revenue goals and supply acquisition targets, optimizing existing supply to meet the demands of the customer, and improving supply business KPIs. Measure partner engagement and performance.
  • Anticipate barriers, market shifts and trends, and lead proactive solution development; apply critical thinking to recommend standards and operating strategies that mitigate risk and propel growth given resource requirements.
  • Build an internal network to support the achievement of strong business outcomes.
  • Drive multi-year, cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Utilize scalable and attributable methods to achieve objectives and key results in the territory.
  • Collaborate with counterparts in other offices globally to share insights and work on global and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Coach team members to maximize their potential in their current role and develop them for future positions within the organization.

Your Expertise:

  • 12+ years of relevant global field operations, or similar, experience with at least 5+ years in a management role managing teams
  • A bold and compassionate leader with a proven ability to grow, develop and scale high performing teams
  • Exceptional ability to organize, lead and meticulously execute on large-scale projects with company-wide impact
  • Operates with a growth mindset and has a very strong bias for action
  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices for the larger team and a strategic portfolio across distinct and varying market stages
  • Ability to influence product, policy, and other cross functional stakeholders to attain new revenue streams for direct team or region
  • Navigates and overcomes organizational barriers by establishing trust, influencing decision-making, and bringing together diverse perspectives to drive alignment and progress
  • Comfortable and skilled at regularly interfacing with, influencing and being a thought partner to senior management (Director, Regional Director and VP) 
  • Expertise in achieving strong results managing through others 
  • Ability to successfully and confidently performance-manage team members
  • Knows how to create a positive and driven team culture
  • Considered an expert in the assigned territory
  • Utilizes knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize performance of areas managed
  • Executes flawlessly and autonomously
  • Previous relevant experience in growing supply, working with Community groups and/or understanding a locally regulated marketplace.

How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  

Pay Range$192,000—$240,000 USD
