The Senior Manager, Global Safety & Security will lead the daily safety and security operations for Payoneer, ensuring that our workplaces, employees, and travel-related activities are protected across the globe. This role will develop and enforce security protocols, oversee risk management for employee travel, and coordinate emergency response measures. Partnering with cross-functional teams and local workplace teams, the manager will ensure a consistent and adaptable approach to security across all our locations.

What You’ll Do:

Global Safety & Security Management: Develop and implement security policies and standards that reflect a culturally sensitive approach across diverse regions. Ensure continuous monitoring of potential threats and design proactive measures to minimize risks. Regularly perform risk assessments of Payoneer workplaces to maintain a safe environment for all employees.

Emergency Preparedness & Incident Management: Enhance readiness for crises by organizing and conducting routine tabletop exercises, simulations, and other drills to keep response plans sharp. Maintain comprehensive Emergency Response Plans and ensure team members are trained to respond effectively to potential threats or evacuations.  Take an active role in managing incidents, coordinating responses as needed to provide on-the-ground support.

Travel Risk & Safety Program:  Oversee travel safety programs, including evaluating risks for travel to high-risk areas. Act as a resource for employees on security concerns related to travel and oversee protocols to address new or changing risks in real time.

Physical Security & Access Control: Manage access control systems, guest management protocols, and employee badging at our workplaces.  Conduct regular security evaluations of corporate spaces and maintain up-to-date security procedures to adapt to evolving global risks.

Security Awareness & Training: Design and deliver security awareness programs to promote a culture of security consciousness throughout the organization. Regularly update employees on best practices and emerging trends in security to enhance overall readiness and resilience.

Vendor Management & Resource Optimization: Oversee external security vendors, ensuring quality service while optimizing costs and reliability. Establish and track key metrics related to security operations, reporting progress and identifying areas for improvement.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with law enforcement, emergency responders, and relevant local authorities. Work closely with HR, regional teams, local workplace teams, and Enterprise Risk Management to ensure aligned safety efforts across all levels of the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security, Risk Management, or a related field. Certified CPP, PSP
  • 5-7 years of experience in managing global safety and security operations, with a focus on travel safety and physical security
  • Demonstrated experience implementing security protocols in complex international environments
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
  • Skilled in project management with a focus on emergency response planning, risk mitigation, and security training
  • ·Availability to travel approximately 10% of the time, supporting hands-on security efforts as needed

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

The annual base salary range for this position is: $130,000-$170,000
