In this role, your primary focus will be driving the seamless execution of Workday initiatives and supporting the operation of our existing Workday modules. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of analysts, requirements gathering, impact analysis, system configuration, testing and deployment of functionality changes as well as executing the strategic projects. You’ll be serving as subject matter expert in the functional areas and provide consultation to our stakeholders and COEs with creative solutions, out of the box thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Senior Manager, HR Technology is responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying workday HR solutions to meet the business requirements of client groups 
  • Provide subject matter expertise and consultation to the HR teams on best practices, system configuration, implementation methodology, and collaborate with the team of HRIS analysts to ensure successful execution 
  • Establish and maintain the operating model for delivering and supporting Workday and HR applications. Spearhead the culture of metrics, SLA tracking and continuously identify opportunities for system and process improvements
  • Will be responsible for leading the end-to-end administration, design and support of Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Security & Reporting 
  • Driving employee experience by improving how the users interact with the system, designing the system, configuration and modules with end users in mind 
  • Drive functional workstreams in strategic projects, understand pain points, optimize processes and introduce solutions to increase operational efficiency 
  • Manage the team of analysts supporting the production systems and troubleshoot critical issues 
  • Cross functional collaboration with other teams to make sure all the touchpoints are addressed.
  • Optimize and maintain the security model in Workday and ensure it’s aligned to the People function and business end users’ needs.
  • Maintain data integrity in the system by identifying data error trends and performing system audits.
  • Develop and maintain user support materials (QRGs, FAQs, videos) and deliver training to colleagues across functions.
  • Focused on adoption and change management to ensure the technology changes are utilized effectively
  • Coach and mentor other colleagues and team members 

You Have...

  • Bachelor's Degree with excellent grades in Business Administration, Computer Science, HR Management or related field
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, testing and deploying Workday HCM
  • Deep knowledge in key Workday functional areas such as Core HCM, Compensation, Advance compensation, Talent management is mandatory 
  • Strong consulting mindset - with a proven track record of asking the right questions to find the best solution and challenging requirements where necessary
  • Extensive experience in Workday data conversion and EIBs
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, being comfortable with complex formulae and data analysis
  • Familiarity with agile development frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum, Kanban)

New York Pay Range$116,250—$155,000 USD
