Senior Manager, Marketing & Growth - Procurement Job Description:

The Senior Manager will be a key leader within our procurement team, developing and leading a category management strategy to optimize external spend for US Marketing.

We are looking for an experienced, high potential, procurement expert to drive internal collaboration, compliance with best practices, and continuous value creation.  Your time will be spent… 

  • Collaborating with wide-range of cross-functional leaders to identify value creation opportunities and build effective sourcing strategies for the Marketing category
  • Developing, tracking and executing a pipeline of initiatives and benefits
  • Directing complex sourcing events and negotiations across all marketing categories
  • Monitoring marketing procurement performance against assigned strategic goals

 

You will...
  • Leverage expertise, market dynamics and business objectives to develop short and long-term roadmap to deliver commercial value for external marketing spend 
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in building effective sourcing strategies across a marketing categories based on rigorous analysis and involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Lead complex sourcing events and negotiations across all marketing spend categories
  • Implement frameworks for the management of strategic supplier and internal relationships
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators/scorecards for suppliers, actively engage stakeholders in the process to ensure the relevant indicators are understood and tracked

  • A strong communicator who can easily communicate complex solutions cross functionally and to upper management

 

You have…

 

  • Total of 5+ years of experience in procurement and sourcing, experience with marketing procurement preferred
  • BA/BS degree in business, supply chain or related discipline, CPM certification a plus, MBA a plus
  • A successful track record of value creation from data-driven insights in sourcing or supply chain 
  • Vast knowledge and interest in strategic sourcing and continuous improvement processes with demonstrated experience in spend analysis, managing sourcing events, and generating value
  • Strong quantitative and analytical experience (either through education or professional experience), including expertise withExcel and procurement systems,  G-Suite a plus
  • Professional training in negotiation practices a plus
  • Experience managing and leading a team of direct and indirect reports
  • Flexibility to travel (up to 25%) and flexibility to work weekends as required (2-3x per quarter)
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite a plus

New York Pay Range$116,250—$155,000 USD
