These capabilities protect applications from malicious threats without compromising on user experience.
You’ll be responsible for managing a team of PMs, setting product strategy, and collaborating closely with Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Data Science, UX, Marketing, and Field teams to deliver scalable and effective security solutions.
This role is ideal for a hands-on product leader with strong execution skills, technical depth, and real-world experience in identity-based threat detection and prevention. You’ve built or scaled security or platform products before and excel at transforming complex challenges into clear, impactful solutions. Beyond day-to-day execution, you’ll opportunistically identify strategic opportunities to expand our identity security portfolio into adjacent markets, customer segments, and verticals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, driving strategy, innovation, and a culture of ownership across identity security initiatives.
- Own the product vision and roadmap for identity threat detection and response, aligning stakeholders and delivering against strategic priorities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the evolving attack landscape through customer engagement, threat research, and competitive analysis.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Threat Intelligence, and Data Science to deliver effective detections and responses to identity-based threats.
- Drive integrations with SOC workflows, including alerting, investigation tooling, and SIEM/SOAR platforms.
- Work with go-to-market, sales, and support teams to enable successful product launches and customer adoption.
- 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing PMs.
- Proven ability to craft and effectively communicate product strategy and tradeoffs to senior leadership and cross-functional executives.
- Demonstrable success building and shipping SaaS security products, ideally in platform or developer-facing domains.
- Strong understanding of identity security use cases. E.g., bot mitigation, account takeover detection, session and token security, leaked credentials, brute force attacks, and familiarity with OWASP security principles.
- Technical aptitude and comfort working with engineers on APIs, architecture decisions, and ML detection models.
- Exposure to building or supporting customer-facing dashboards, risk scoring systems, or analytics tools that help security teams monitor activity, detect anomalies, and take informed action.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong decision-making instincts grounded in customer empathy, data, and a strong bias for action.
- Experience addressing identity security, fraud, and abuse challenges in high-risk industries such as finance, retail, or healthcare.
- Experience working with threat intelligence teams or leveraging threat intel data to inform product decisions and improve detection accuracy.
- Experience with security challenges in generative AI applications.
- Builds Effective Teams: Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
- Demonstrates Self-Awareness (EQ): Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.
- Develops Talent: Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.
