The Senior Manager, Program Management & Planning Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Support Programs to support our Senior Vice President of Global Customer Acceleration and Support.  This role is pivotal in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Customer Acceleration and Support organization. This global organization of 480 professionals includes: Customer Support, Expert Acceleration, Knowledge and Online Support and Digital Growth. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Global Customer Acceleration and Support leadership team and drive and contribute to: Strategic planning, annual planning, team building and development, and managing key projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor and confidant to the SVP, facilitating communication and decision-making processes.

What you’ll be doing 
  • Collaborate with corporate, sales, operations, finance, human resources, engineering, renewals, customer success, and professional services teams to identify opportunities and develop related Customer First strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between the SVP and other functions/teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals, strategies, and plans. 
  • Manage and oversee critical projects, ensuring they align with company objectives and are delivered on time 
  • Lead and manage staff meetings, quarterly off-sites and drive CCO communications strategy
  • Ensure SVP is prepared for customer calls and events
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and data analysis for internal and external stakeholders   
  • Manage the portfolio of strategic plans and program portfolio to ensure execution of key priorities 
  • Manage a team of program managers  
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the SVP to facilitate efficient decision making. 
  • Attend meetings with or on behalf of the SVP 
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on matters pertaining to Global Customer Acceleration and Support. 
  • Drive operational and administrative efficiencies within Global Customer Acceleration and Support 
  • Support the SVP in fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a business management role, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment. 
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS security industry and its challenges. 
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and work with key internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. 
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and project management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$168,000—$252,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $188,000—$282,000 USD
