What's the opportunity? 🤔

Intercom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Real Estate & Workplace Operations. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence across our global real estate and workplace portfolio across our five locations. The successful candidate will be passionate about leveraging data-driven insights and operational excellence to enhance workplace and real estate strategies, aiming to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the overall employee experience.

What will I be doing? 🚀

Strategic Management of Real Estate and Workspaces:

  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets for our global workplace strategy and our global real estate portfolio including acquisition, leasing, and disposition.
  • Perform in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities and risks across global regions.
  • Align real estate and workplace initiatives with global and local business goals and company strategy.

 

Data Analysis & Operational Efficiency:

  • Build and maintain dashboards for visibility into the health of our workplaces.
  • Maintain workplace excellence through reporting, account management, and documentation upkeep.
  • Drive efficiency in office procedures and processes.
  • Standardize procedures to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance the employee experience.

 

Global Budget Oversight & Management:

  • Manage budgeting and planning for our facilities, including cost estimates for resources and labor.
  • Oversee and manage budgets for global real estate projects.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving strategies across the global portfolio.

 

Vendor Management and Collaboration:

  • Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring quality and timely services. 
  • Develop tools and dashboards to track vendor performance.
  • Foster strong internal and external relationships, effectively collaborating across all organizational levels.
What skills do I need? 📖
  • Experience managing a Global Real Estate and Workplace portfolio.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills & proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally. 
  • Adaptable to a dynamic and ever changing business environment.
