About the roleIn the role of Senior Manager, EMEA Social Media Strategy, you'll will be the architect behind our global social media presence, driving content strategies that resonate with our diverse and passionate anime community in EMEA territories.
Your role will involve close collaboration with EMEA regional social teams to ensure a cohesive global narrative while fostering local engagement. As a senior manager, You will provide strategic direction and mentorship to enhance our social media campaigns and initiatives, promoting awareness, affinity, and engagement with the Crunchyroll brand. You will report to the Director of EMEA Comms Marketing.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of ingeniouscontent strategies for the EMEA region, aligning with Crunchyroll's global marketing goals and regional anime community trends.
- Employ analytics and social listening tools to enhance campaign performance in the EMEA region, ensuring maximum engagement and channel health.
- Work with global teams to align EMEA social media campaigns with global brand projects and seasonal anime releases.
- Oversee the content calendar, ensuring an engaging presence across social media channels.
- Lead community management initiatives in EMEA, fostering engagement and positive brand perception.
- Guide EMEA regional teams in creating bespoke content strategies and IP campaigns informed by current platform trends and regional insights.
- Oversee exploring and integrating new social media platforms to maintain Crunchyroll's digital engagement leadership in EMEA.
- Be the go-to expert for EMEA anime communities, identifying and advocating for regional opportunities in social media strategies.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- +10 years experience in social media strategy development within the entertainment or similar industries, with an understanding of fandom communities with a focus on the EMEA region.
- Expertise in analytics, social media trends, and campaign optimization, with a history of promoting growth and engagement on a global scale.
- Experience mentoring teams and fostering collaboration across different regional markets to create a unified social media presence through the content we create.
- Project management skills and the ability to work with marketing, creative, and executive teams to build comprehensive strategies.
- The ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
