Why We Have This Role
The EMEA Solutions Engineering team is looking for a Solutions Engineering Lead who will work closely with the Sales Management team to understand their account mix and sales opportunities to drive deals forward and close revenue.
Our presales organization is a group of highly driven individuals dedicated to closing experience gaps. The Solution Engineer team specializes in working with large, global customers to architect world-class experience management (XM) programs that drive a culture of action and create tangible business value.

Things You’ll Do
- Ensure that all SE requests are promptly assigned (or closed) so as to meet our 2-day SLA with sales.
- Ensure your team fully supports all solution requests by the sales team to help Qualtrics win the solution selection with the clients.
- Help your team prepare for specific demos & client meetings to positively impact win rates.
- Enable team members on new products or features.
- Act as a point of operational escalation in case any team member requires cover.
- Deal reviews & forecast calls with Sales leaders.
- Align with your sales managers & work out the winning formulas in the different industries.
- Conducting regular 1:1s with their team members.
- Coordinating a regular team meeting.
- Supporting their team with their individual responsibilities.
- Assisting them with individual career development and promotions.
- Ensuring revenue expectations & OKRs are set and measured.
- Conducting performance reviews.
- Recruit, Interview, Hire, and Onboard great candidates for continued team growth.
- Being an example for your team in using the player-coach model by supporting your own opportunities and maintaining successful metrics. .
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- 6-8 years of prior Sales/Systems Engineering, or Solution Architect management experience with software in a SaaS/Cloud environment, selling to C/VP level buyers.
- 2 - 3 years demonstrated experience in building and managing cross teams of pre-sales people, supporting both Enterprise and Corporate classes of business.
- High energy, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in entrepreneurial environments.
- Outstanding professional, sales, and technical capabilities; comfortable supporting both enterprise (field) and inside sales teams on targeted accounts.
- Strong customer facing and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques
- Possess "best of breed" functional sales experience that could be applied across an entire sales area in general or specific functional categories.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and ability to lead encouraging both individual and team accomplishments.
- Must be prepared to learn new technologies.
- Have experience managing external stakeholders like sales leaders.
