About the job

This position is needed to help manage Twilio’s NAMER ISV Business. 

Twilio ISVs represent the biggest opportunities for growth in our business, and they are also the most complicated relationships to manage. To be successful, we must be an extension of their business, which requires deep knowledge in Messaging, Voice &/or Email technology, operational excellence to drive projects and programs and a level of technical depth beyond the average sales leader. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Manage a team of 5-8 AEs

  • Responsible for revenue and gross profit

  • Operationalize our GTM motion for efficiency and effectiveness 

  • Create GTM and technical playbooks help protect revenue and also capture all new opportunity

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the above initiatives 

  • Be the “go-to” and problem solver for the nuanced issues that arise in telco

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales

  • 3+ years of experience in the telco industry (sms/voice aggregator or telco)

  • Comfortable working with business and highly technical leaders, while influencing their understanding and building supportive partnerships

  • Analytical account development strategy based on using data to find opportunities and prove value

  • Demonstrated track record of managing forecasts and financial models 

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite to define process and build programs

  • Record of delivering market driven results, especially to ISVs

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience

Desired:

  • Masters Degree 

Location

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

Approximately 20% travel is anticipated.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $144,720 - $180,900.

  • Based in New York, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $160,800 - $201,000.

  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

  • This role is eligible to earn commissions. 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
