Senior Manager Supplier Quality & Food Safety

You will.......

  • Develop and deliver Supplier Quality vision at HelloFresh, The Pets Table, Good Chop, Green Chef, Factor, Every Plate and to ensure the integrity of ingredients and packaging are met.
  • Manage suppliers to ensure products and processes meet HelloFresh supplier expectations, product specifications, food safety, and GMP requirements on a continuous basis.
  • Implement supplier and 3PL initiatives to improve performance, consistency of ingredient quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee audits, on-boarding, and other functions related to supplier food safety and quality; establish and improve KPIs for tracking quality and performance of suppliers
  • Vet and help stand up co-manufacturers that best meet the needs of the business  
  • Monitor supplier documentation requirements to ensure SQF compliance.
  • Promote a customer-first environment by focusing on delivering the highest quality product to our customers.
  • Partner with Procurement, Operations and other departments to develop SOPs and KPIs that will drive standardization and improvement across all aspects of the company.
  • Develop industry partnerships to place HelloFresh as the industry leader with FDA New Era of Smarter Food Safety.

You have........ 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) in Food Science, Microbiology, Supply Chain, or related; at minimum, high school diploma with no less than 6 years’ relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain, Vendor Management or Food Manufacturing
  • 3+ years of supplier or vendor management, including presentations, negotiations, on-boarding/off-boarding, performance evaluations, quality inspections, audits, etc.
  • Well-versed in quality systems, food safety regulations, HACCP, SQF, GMPs
  • Background in Supplier/Co-Packer Management and Supplier Auditing
  • Quality or Ingredient Certifications a plus (ASQ, SQF, AIB etc.)
  • Efficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Google app (Gmail, drive, sheets, etc.), and Tableau capabilities
