Joining Collibra’s Test Engineering team
  • You will drive the implementation and adoption of Automation Testing strategy, automation test strategy, processes, frameworks, tools and techniques across Collibra teams
  • You will provide 'hands on' expertise and support to the Test engineers and SDETs in delivery of testing frameworks, environments and cross-cutting testing solutions
  • You will continuously monitor and calibrate all testing activities, test results, and actively lead active root cause analysis, to identify areas of improvement and drive required improvements
Sr. Managers, Test Engineering at Collibra are responsible for:
  • Coaching and mentoring team members, peer groups and cross-functional leaders to keep up with software release cycles
  • Evaluation and standardizing automation tools, frameworks and practices across Collibra
  • Defining approaches for implementing cross-product E2E testing
  • Providing recommendations regarding issues, processes, and testing procedures and proactively seek opportunities to simplify and automate existing processes, as necessary
  • Collaboration with Senior Director, Test Engineering, in order to drive automation & other testing initiatives and promote Quality awareness and mindset
You have:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a SaaS based organization, with 4 years of direct management of SDETs/ testing teams
  • Experienced in designing and testing scalable systems to articulate findings and recommendations
  • Experience in defining, driving and implementing test automation solutions 
  • Familiarity with various infrastructure components such as servers, databases, and network configurations in multi-cloud like AWS, GCP and preferably Azure 
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

  • Knowledgeable in variety of software test methodologies and capable to innovate upon them to drive continuous improvements in a SaaS environment
  • Able to work on a diverse team, build networks, promote collaboration and lead by example
  • Able to think independently with keen attention to details
  • Well organized and accustomed to driving changes in a fast paced environment
Measures of success:
  • Within your first month, you will have onboarded with our products and practices and start getting insights into the existing overall test strategy, team’s pain points leading your team’s testing practices
  • Within your third month, you will have a revised automation testing strategy identified based on the gap assessment and alignment to the goals, to drive organization wide initiatives
  • Within your sixth month, you will have consistently implemented automation testing practices across the board per the strategic direction
Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is $152,000 to $190,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
