About the job
Twilio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Leader to lead our team as a Senior Manager of Workday Services. As an expert in HCM, Talent, and Compensation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing our Workday platform to support the professional growth of our Twilions.
This proactive leadership role involves collaborating with internal People teams to implement, optimize, and maintain the Twilio Workday platform. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, maximizing system efficiencies to meet both strategic and operational business needs. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to translate business needs into innovative HCM, Talent, and Compensation solutions. Maximize business processes, reports, and security functionalities to meet strategic and operational business requirements. Assist in the efforts to develop and execute the Workday strategy and roadmap inclusive of application upgrades, enhancements, and implementation activities that address business plans, vendor product developments and support requirements, while ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.

Data Integrity: Ensure accountability for data integrity, including quality, accuracy, reporting, timeliness, and usability across core systems and related interfaces. Proactively maintain data integrity through audits, reports, and other means.

Team Leadership: Manage the performance, development, and training of direct reports to cultivate a highly skilled and engaged workforce. Coach, teach, guide, motivate, and inspire the team, setting goals and ensuring deadlines are met.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to develop technology solutions, process improvements, and policy changes, enhancing user experience and process efficiency.

Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Workday subject matter expert with a focus on People HCM, Talent, and Compensation functionalities. Act as an internal consultant for the business, developing strategies and tactics for effective business processes and reporting.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively work with the team to improve system configuration, integrations, and reporting, advancing the quality of information provided to stakeholders. Recommend changes to processes, methods and implement practices that enable the team to become high performing.Awareness and Education: Maintain and promote awareness of Workday system capabilities, new releases, and upgrades, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their impact on existing and future functionality.

Implementation Involvement: Participate in and contribute to all phases of internal Workday implementations, from assessing company data to configuring and testing within the Workday system.

Business Relationship Building: Build strong internal relationships with key business leaders to define and understand strategic and tactical data requirements.

Confidentiality: Maintain the strictest confidentiality in all work aspects and ensure continuous data integrity.

Required:

7+ years of Workday configuration experience with a focus on HCM, Talent, and Compensation.

4+ years in a management role.

Strong team building and people leadership skills, with demonstrated leadership in developing Workday technical staff and skills.

Experience with Workday Release Management.

Excellent knowledge of PC software, including Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace.

Understanding of data privacy practices and regulations, with discipline in handling highly confidential information.

Effective communication and presentation skills across all levels of management.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with business units and third-party vendors.
Desired:
- Workday Pro certifications are a plus.
Location
This role will be remote based in the US but is not eligible for hire in CA, WA,NY,NJ,PA, or CT.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado: $149,440.00- $186,800.00
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
