Our Opportunity:   Chewy is looking for a Senior Community Marketing Manager to join our Healthcare Marketing Team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for community marketing of one of Chewy’s healthcare products and services inclusive of community events, outreach, and partnerships. This role reports directly to the AD, Healthcare Marketing. You will be the lead in developing and defining the channel and content strategies, creative/asset test designs, messaging frameworks, campaigns, and measurement mechanisms. You will be a program owner with the responsibility of promoting awareness, consideration and acquisition of Health services customers. You will partner with the business and marketing leaders to deliver full-funnel go-to market plans and for producing a thoughtful and profitable community outreach program.   The heart of this role is focused on the growth of one of Chewy’s healthcare products and services through the acquisition, activation, and engagement within various local communities. This role will support live field events, virtual events, key community campaigns, but above all, focus on building and deepening relationships with local communities through field activations. We’re looking to leverage your collective marketing background to deploy field activities at scale.   You will have grown up in the spaces of field/events marketing and social and are comfortable pushing the bounds of thinking in these areas. You will understand the customer journey and experience and have a detailed understanding of data, including measurement strategy, how to test, and how to improve and iterate. You will set foundations and shape our narrative and position with community marketing efforts, with a relentless focus on events, outreach and community building. This individual is highly proficient in partnering across marketing and business teams and has proven experience delivering high quality results with minimal direction from leadership. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as this role will interface directly with cross-functional teams.  

What you'll do:

  • Prepare detailed campaign/events plans and creative briefs and ensure alignment across all channels and adherence to team goals.
  • Lead the build of winning content & event strategies for Chewy Health products and services.
  • Partner with Social & Performance Marketing teams and Marketing Analytics to develop full funnel paid campaigns and corresponding, connected reporting.
  • Work cross-functionally to complete campaign analysis and identify applicable insights to improve the effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date with trends and technologies in the experiential, community, and social media and spaces and suggest new ways to implement these into our processes.
  • Deliver informed and insightful strategic POV of pet health that achieves goals and answers consumer's needs, including planning and prioritization, from intake of briefs to detailed measurement reports.
  • Generate and execute a local community marketing plan.
  • Establish a local event marketing playbook and host pop-up event.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses.
  • Manage inventory for all swag and printed materials needed for local community events.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field required.
  • 6+ years working in a social and programmatic role.
  • Experience in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development.
  • Proven ability developing social creative is a requirement (TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Proven ability developing community marketing is a requirement (Events, Activations, Partnerships, etc.)
  • Experience taking our goals and translating them into creative projects.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
