Deliveroo Hop

Deliveroo Hop is Deliveroo’s speedy grocery delivery service. Our mission is to deliver groceries to customers around the world in minutes - from the weekly shop, to a last minute dinner party or a late night snack. The Role

Deliveroo is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to join the Deliveroo Hop team.

Reporting to the Director of Hop Retail, this role will own the global Hop marketing budget, develop and deliver marketing activity related to Deliveroo’s dark-store grocery business in the UK, and support our global markets to accelerate Hop growth (Italy, Hong Kong and the UAE) through thought leadership and business partnering.

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional who has a strong skill set for project management, partner management, and campaign execution. You’ll have a passion for all things Grocery and food, be customer-obsessed and have a natural ability to think strategically to solve business problems. You’ll be experienced in working with customer data & insight to build marketing campaigns and have a broad knowledge and understanding of the marketing channel mix with a leaning towards CRM & loyalty.

You will work closely with the Hop commercial teams, local marketing teams, our in-house Creative Studio and channel experts to launch best-in-class campaigns to ensure Deliveroo Hop is the first choice for customers when it comes to groceries, essentials and last-minute snacks.

 

What you’ll be doing

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the global Hop marketing budget
  • Designing, planning and implementing an annual calendar of campaigns for UK including maximising seasonal events, identifying new opportunities and ensuring we maximise Hop coverage in broader Grocery & national campaigns
  • Working with the Growth Marketing Strategy and Digital Marketing teams to execute market-leading retention & acquisition campaigns 
  • Work with Program Management to launch new dark-stores on time, within budget and achieving targets
  • Owning the Hop CRM content calendar in partnership with the CRM team & Growth Marketing Strategy
  • Lead strong marketing relationships with our key partners to execute interesting and aligned offers
  • Work with the Brand Strategy to execute branded touchpoints that drive brand loyalty and engagement
  • Working with the Ops Managers to keep our site & stock teams are up to date with the latest campaigns, promotions and content
  • Develop a promotional & value strategy, working with the Vendor Management & Pricing teams to unlock key trade deals
  • Working with the UK social / PR and Hop brand strategy teams on ideas to gain brand traction for Hop
  • Leading on performance, sharing post-campaign analysis and reporting learnings to the business

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a creative and organised marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven experience working in a similar role and delivering impactful marketing activation that drives results
  • Outstanding organisational ability and project management experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to hit deadlines and targets
  • Ability to think big and push teams to activate campaigns in innovative ways
  • Proven experience in partner stakeholder management
  • Problem solver with a can-do attitude, happy to work autonomously
  • In-depth understanding of the different marketing channels and a clear view on which channels to use to activate to support business objectives
  • Creative thinker with experience in briefing, developing and approving global creative platforms and campaigns
  • Enthusiastic and collaborative team player
  • Experience at a top-performing retail/eComm/tech company preferred
