About the role:

We are looking for a savvy, data-driven Marketer to help us continue to grow and scale quickly. A creative marketing whiz, who has marketplace experience across an array of digital and offline channels. We value data-driven decision-making and strong leadership skills to excel in a matrix-style org.  Our ideal candidate would be passionate about Taskrabbit and the on-demand economy and would know how to help us grow our brand and business.

As the Marketing Lead for Paris, you will own the full local marketing plan across all channels. You will work with the central marketing team across paid channels (Search, Display, Paid Social, App, events, partnerships) and owned and earned channels (local email content, SEO, blog, Push, PR, Influencers). You will be responsible for driving demand in your local market and working with the country team to deliver revenue.  This role will report directly to the Country Manager, with a dotted line to the Director of EU Marketing.

What you will work on:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market plan for Paris including owned and earned channels as well as paid performance and brand channels. 
  • Develop an end-to-end marketing playbook that encompasses client acquisition and engagement
  • Collaborate with channel managers across SEM, SEO, Email, Push, Display, Paid Social, Affiliate, Organic Social, Influencers, and PR to implement local strategies.
  • Work with the marketing team to track campaigns and measure the efficiency of each initiative, scaling efforts in line with results.
  • Own the overall channel mix to grow the customer base while maintaining ROAS. 
  • Leverage data to identify areas of opportunity and execute innovative tests/projects to drive growth and engagement. 
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Operations, Partnership Management, Localisation, Data) to develop marketing strategies that drive demand (visitors and recos) and capture, conversion, and retention.
  • Work with the country management team for France to align on business objectives and OKRs for the Paris market. 
  • Work closely with the partnership management team for France to maximize opportunities to leverage IKEA to grow our brand and visitors.  
  • Work with the global design team on creative copy and content, and develop campaigns that are locally relevant but that maintain consistency across the global brand positioning.
  • Develop Paris-specific brand partnerships that will help Taskrabbit deliver on its business goals. 
Your areas of expertise:
  • Fluent in English and French with an extensive knowledge of the Paris market and its nuances (Must be based in Paris)
  • Undergraduate degree required with outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement
  • 6+ years marketing experience at an advertising agency or start-up company
  • Hands-on experience with proven outstanding results from online and offline, paid and organic marketing channels 
  • Exquisite written and verbal communication skills
  • Skill and appetite to operate at a high pace in a remote-first, entrepreneurial environment 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to ambiguous problems
  • Data-driven mindset, good at identifying insights and data storytelling
  • Professional, positive, upbeat attitude
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel/Sheets, Looker, Google Analytics, or other analytical tools

 

Compensation & Benefits:

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perksThe annual gross pay range for this position is €52,000 - €66,000. This is the base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits.
