Perigold Catalog Merchandising Senior Associate (L2)
The Perigold Merchandising Senior Associate is responsible for delivering a superior luxury ecommerce experience for both our customers shopping, and suppliers who sell their products on our platforms. In this role you will own a specific area of our product catalog and be responsible for its success, including how products are merchandised on site, and the structures and data that power our customer-facing features, using a combination of consumer analytics, digital strategy, and program management. You’ll become the subject matter expert in the merchandise and collaborate with partner teams to drive our segments’ agendas forward, championing the luxury customer. You will leverage consumer analytics, digital strategy, and program management to optimize the front-end shopping experience and data structures, while serving as a subject matter expert on the merchandise we sell and customer shopping behavior.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Perigold go-to person on mid-funnel merchandising and performance of our product catalog.
- Seek out, define and effectively drive larger scale projects.
- Own and deliver projects end to end taking on ideas at problem statement level with responsibility for discovery, structuring & scoping problems through to delivering the final solution.
- Challenge the status quo and always be on the lookout for ways to streamline and improve the efficiency of existing processes while effectively managing multiple stakeholders.
- Track the results of past actions, report out effectively and make decisions based on learning and data.
- Analyze site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve conversion rate and drive revenue growth across assigned product categories.
- Research trends, opportunities and competitors to discover new ways to improve customer experience within assigned product categories.
- Mentor associates on the team and guide them towards career success.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of relevant work or internship experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) earned by date of hire
- Proactive and eager to constantly seek out opportunities to make an impact
- Self-starter who takes initiative and has an ownership mentality
- Able to coordinate global, cross-functional projects, providing clear & constructive feedback to other teams and levels
- Data-driven, analytical and process-oriented, comfortable learning new data analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize projects and multitask to get things done
- Detail oriented; unafraid of complexity and problem solving; curious mindset
- Strong communication skills and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to navigate structured and unstructured data and problems; familiarity with Google Suite is required, GBQ and data visualization tools a plus
This is a hybrid positions requiring M-TH in office and remote on Fridays. Office is located in Boston, MA. At this time, Wayfair is unable to hire candidates that require visa sponsorship now or in the future for this position.
