As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Senior Motion Designer to join our dynamic marketing team and help elevate our brand through compelling visual storytelling.

We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Motion Designer to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful motion graphics that align with our brand identity and marketing goals. You will collaborate closely with our content, design, brand and marketing teams to develop high-quality animations and videos that effectively communicate our value proposition and resonate with our target audience.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations and videos for a variety of marketing channels, including performance creative (paid ads), website, email campaigns, and product launches.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and translate ideas into engaging motion content.

  • Ensure all motion design content aligns with Personio’s brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.

  • Work closely with copywriters, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and compelling visual narratives.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in motion design and incorporate them into your work to keep our content fresh and innovative.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and contribute to the overall growth and development of the design team.

  • Work with both internal design teams and external design resources, to scale production of your designs and concepts. 

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion design, preferably within a marketing or advertising environment - experience in SaaS is beneficial.

  • Proficient in industry-standard motion graphics and video editing software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of motion design work, including animated videos, social media content, and interactive presentations.

  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

  • Ability to think creatively and translate concepts into visually compelling motion graphics.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience in 3D animation and knowledge of UX/UI principles is a plus.
