What's the role?

Huge is looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join the team. In this role, you will collaborate with the creative department to concept, storyboard, design, and animate for a variety of digital, web, advertising, and video content assignments. The Senior Motion Designer handles design and motion elements for broadcast & web spots, branded content, and short films, trailers, and reels. The person in this position must be an imaginative and conceptual designer with strong communication skills.

What will you do?

Creative collaboration:

  • Provide creative input and lead collaboration with the teams into concepting, designing and delivering solutions for various digital, web, advertising, and video content assignments.
  • Work closely with the team to bring creative ideas to life through motion design.

Motion design and animation:

  • Create visually appealing and engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for broadcast and web spots, branded content, short films, trailers, and reels.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence in motion design across various touchpoints to enhance brand cohesion.

Conceptual thinking and storytelling:

  • Utilize your imaginative and conceptual design skills to create compelling visual narratives, and develop storyboards and visual concepts that effectively communicate the intended message.
  • Apply motion design techniques to enhance storytelling and engage audiences.

Quality control and communication:

  • Ensure the highest standards of design excellence and quality control in all motion design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their vision and requirements.
What do we expect from you?
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in motion design, preferably in a digital design agency.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing experience concepting unique and compelling ideas for video, motion graphic, visual effects assignments and advertising campaigns.
  • Proven collaboration with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Copywriters to develop stories and create storyboards and design elements.
  • You have executed and led original motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for content on all media channels.
  • You have worked with video editors to create ads, short-form documentaries, and scripted stories.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software tools, such as After Effects, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D.
  • Excellent conceptual thinking and storytelling skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
What's a plus?
  • You have solid knowledge of Unreal Engine + Houdini, as well as  AR-VR.
  • You have knowledge in video and sound editing software.
  • You have knowledge and expertise in Maya.
  • You are familiar with software extensions like Lottie.
