Senior Operations Manager
- Leading our team of Operation Managers to develop an inclusive performance culture.
- Provide proactive and constructive engagement with all operational managers.
- Constantly striving to better the efficiency of the operation and the overall delivery process.
- Continually identifying opportunities to implement best practice throughout the wider team.
- Be overall accountable to our performance metrics and the improvement of them.
- Recruit and develop staff to be the best at what they do.
- Workforce resource planning and team development – Succession planning, Personal development plans and creating an operational talent pool.
- Promote improvement in safety, quality, delivery and cost through effective management and leading positive change.
- Take learnings from the operation and translate these into improvements through collaboration with other teams.
- Support the implementation of new products into the operation.
- Ideally from an FMCG background in Production or Logistics Operations Management. Experience with managing large scale operations with multiple management tiers.
- Experience in working with electronic warehouse management systems.
- Strong understanding of health and safety and its application in a warehouse/production environment.
- Used to working in a high pressure, fast paced and constantly changing environment.
- Understanding of operational reporting, key information identification and critical issue escalation.
- Excellent people skills and be passionate about achieving results through people. A strong leader, able to inspire others and build engaged and motivated teams.
- Great communication skills and decision-making capabilities. Logical approach to making decisions, promoting the customer comes first mindset.
- Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders.
- Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude.
- Embraces change and challenge.
- Experience within a food hygiene environment and automated operations is desirable.

Location: The Beehive, Bermuda Industrial Estate, 1 St Georges Way, Nuneaton, CV10 7JS
Work Schedule: Onsite 9am-6pm Monday-Friday with occasional night/weekend shift as required
