Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven leader to oversee major functions within Asia Operations.  As the Asia Lead, you will be responsible for a wide range of supply chain management activities, working cross-functionally and engaging regularly with senior leadership. This role requires deep expertise in supply chain and logistics, a passion for problem-solving, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a unique opportunity to significantly contribute to Wayfair's continued rapid growth.

Responsibilities:

Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize online portals, reducing processing time, improving accuracy, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Digital Transformation: Possessing a thorough understanding of existing business processes, you will identify and execute a digital transformation roadmap. Serve as the liaison between Operations and Technology, driving digital initiatives, implementing innovative solutions, and enhancing data connectivity with third-party partners across the supply chain.  Champion a culture of continuous improvement and change.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal teams across geographies (Sales, Technology, Procurement, Business Intelligence, etc.) to build a strong foundation for scalability.  Develop strong relationships with global leadership to secure buy-in before implementing new business solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors.  Develop performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and proactively mitigate risks associated with mismatched service-level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Digital Solutions. E-commerce experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring high-performing teams, with a hands-on management style.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.  Proven ability to provide data-driven insights and objective solutions to support executive decision-making.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse audiences and visually represent complex ideas.  Proficiency in presentation software (PowerPoint/Google Slides).
  • Creative and critical thinking abilities, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and champion change.  Ability to drive the adoption of new initiatives and foster a positive attitude towards change within the team.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.  Experience living and working in both China and the United States is a plus.
  • Strong sense of ownership, results-oriented, highly adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience managing and executing large-scale projects, with a track record of successful delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
