Senior Paid Search Manager

As a Senior Paid Search Manager at MongoDB, you will be responsible for leading our in-house paid search strategies and campaigns and managing our agency relationships and projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing substantial PPC budgets and driving measurable success in SEM initiatives. We are looking for a results-driven professional with both strategic and hands-on experience in managing search campaigns directly in the ad platforms, rather than solely relying on the agency for optimizations or using proprietary in-house software.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, execute, and optimize cutting-edge paid search strategies to drive business objectives and maximize ROI
- Manage accounts on major search platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing, etc) with a significant monthly budget
- Analyze and report on campaign performance data to guide strategic decisions and improve future campaigns
- Collaborate with other marketing teams, agencies, and product teams to align search marketing strategies with business goals
- Conduct continuous testing and data-driven optimization of keywords, bidding strategies, and ad copy
- Oversee and manage the paid search budget, forecasting, and reconciliation processes
- Stay updated with PPC and SEM trends, tools, and best practices to continuously refine our approach
- Mentor and lead any future team members responsible for assisting with paid search efforts
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Paid Search (SEM) management, particularly in-house roles within corporate settings
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-budget paid search campaigns directly
- Expert proficiency with PPC platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to use data in creative ways to drive and measure results
- Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills, capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the technology or software industry, especially in a B2B environment
- Certifications in Google Ads, Bing Ads, or other relevant platforms
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$84,000—$165,000 USD
