 Job Description for Partner Success Manager - ViatorViator is looking for a talented Partner Success Manager (PSM) to join our team in USA. You will join our dynamic Affiliate Partnerships team, supporting key, strategic partners in both North America and in Europe. This position serves as a key member of an account team acting as the client's primary point of contact, and advocating for the client across the Viator organization to achieve mutual success.This position is responsible for maximizing the value of partner relationships by growing the revenue generated by the partner, growing the market share of Viator in the business and continuously adding value by executing the Viator strategy, with heavy emphasis on using data to drive strategy and decisions.  

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to engage at the C- level, as well as an account management background that enables them to easily build relationships with day-to-day contacts. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the skills to influence clients through recommendations and decisions that best emphasize the value of the Viator supply and drive growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong business and analytical expertise as well as strong account management skills. A background understanding of technical knowledge in APIs and affiliate technologies will be an advantage.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing partners, providing excellent B2B customer service and ensuring partner satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner closely with executives at the client to influence strategies for driving sales of Viator Experiences.
  • Consult on, and implement with the client optimization tactics that include supply yield optimization and improving merchandising touchpoints by leveraging on internal, externaland partner provided data to drive growth for the business.
  • Develop and track a series of financial and operational KPIs that Viator and the client agree on that best reflect the success of the partnership.
  • Organize and implement strategic account planning processes to engage with the client at senior levels by identifying opportunities and challenges faced by the client, recognize those initiatives that solve our mutual business objectives and communicate these business needs for Viator stakeholders for resources to address the objectives, and track our performance)
  • Prepare and present QBRs, and as required, negotiate contractual agreements to expand the scope of Viator’s products and services
  • Drive process improvement through analytical approaches and creative solutions
  • Develop extensive knowledge of the travel industry market trends, developments and competitor actions to enable you to develop and implement pre-emptive strategies and plans with our partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience managing strategic relationships, using technology solutions (travel industry a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, cross-functional (e.g. product, sales, strategy, marketing) global teams
  • Proven ability to work closely with executives to present strategic vision and negotiate effectively on behalf of the company with a strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to work independently within a complex environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to stakeholders and to juggle multiple initiatives at once
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, addressing a wide variety of functional business problems
  • Ability to quickly assess and make reccomendations to an opportunity's potential, leveraging fact-based analyses and industry experience
  • Ability to execute and dive deep into operational processes to ensure our partners have the best working experience with our products
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across regional and functional lines
  • Proficient in Excel and data analytics
  • Candidates with experience in Travel Industry, E-commerce/Affiliate Marketing, B2B Distribution will be put at a strong advantage.
