Senior Partnerships Manager, Business Development Europe (m/f/d)
At bookingkit, Europe's leading booking and reservation software for tours and activities, big changes are on the horizon. Our goal by 2030 is to create an AI-powered Success Platform enabling Attractions like museums, sights, and theme parks to grow ticket sales and simplify ticket operations.
And that's where you come in: We are looking for you as a Senior Partnerships Manager, Business Development Europe (m/f/d) to drive our expansion across Europe. In this role, you will be the engine of our partnership growth, identifying, negotiating and closing high-impact commercial partnerships based on product integrations. You will own end-to-end our partner acquisition, ensuring that technical integration is always paired with a validated business case and clear joint revenue potential. This is a full-time (40h/week) position.
Hybrid or remote, the work setup choice is yours! This role requires a regular presence in our key European markets to meet local stakeholders, build trust with partners, and represent bookingkit at major industry fairs.
🎯 What you'll own
• End-to-End Partner Acquisition: Own the entire cycle from top-of-funnel lead generation to signed contract. As a true “hunter”, you proactively identify and secure gatekeeper partners in expansion markets to solve local regulatory needs and unlock our ideal customer segments in new markets.
• Market Research & Network Building: Leverage bookingkit’s extensive industry-network and conduct deep-dive research to find the right industry contacts and local consultants in markets where bookingkit is expanding.
• Technical Integration Strategy: Qualify potential partners based on technical synergy, focusing on deep software integrations that provide long-term value to our ecosystem. Collaborate closely with our tech team who will provide the detailed technical assessment to support you.
• Commercial Modeling & Negotiation: Design and negotiate commercial models that incentivize joint customer acquisition. You will drive the contractual process, ensuring win-win financial frameworks and legal alignment.
• Pipeline Management: Build and manage a high-velocity partnership funnel, ensuring rigorous qualification and a clear path to "onboarding-ready" status. You will own and manage your partnerships pipeline within Hubspot, ensuring all acquisition and co-selling processes comply with the standards established by our RevOps team - for example regarding lead attribution models or partner-influenced revenue tracking.
• Strategic Contribution: Translate market feedback into actionable partnerships strategy. Your success is measured by impact and scalability—you will prioritize high-leverage partnerships that create a ‘snowball effect,’ driving meaningful revenue growth without a proportional increase in manual effort. You will advise on which commercial models work best for specific partner types and geographic regions.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: While reporting into our product org, you will work in close strategic alignment with GTM leadership to ensure our partnership roadmap directly feeds the sales pipeline and adds to our competitiveness. This includes driving marketing and sales activities to help attract additional partners, ensuring that new partners align with our sales prospects, helping assess that partners fit across both technical and commercial aspects, or that the handover into onboarding is seamless.
🧠 You Bring
• Proven "Hunter" Track Record: 5+ years of experience in high-level Business Development or Partner Acquisition, specifically within the SaaS or B2B technology space
• Deep Industry Expertise: You come with an existing network and deep knowledge of the attractions, tours, or "things-to-do" sector. Experience in related fields like Travel-Tech or Hospitality is a significant advantage.
• Technical Fluency: A strong understanding of API-based integrations and software ecosystems. You can speak confidently with product teams and technical stakeholders.
• Master Negotiator: Extensive experience navigating complex contractual details and building commercial models focused on revenue sharing and joint growth.
• Autonomous Growth Mindset: You are a self-starter who thrives on "starting from zero" in new markets and can find creative ways (e.g., local consultants) to open doors.
• Strategic Thinking: The ability to not just "execute" but to analyze and improve the "why" and "how" of our partnership approach to expand our market position.
• Fluency in English: Native-level English is required.
➕ Nice-to-Have
• German Language Skills: Business-level German is a major advantage given our strong presence in the DACH region.
• Additional European Languages: Fluency in Italian, Spanish, French, or other European languages is a huge plus as we scale our European network.
• Consultative Sales Experience: Experience working with industry consultants or agencies to facilitate market entry.
