Senior People Operations Specialist (onsite)
- Shape the employee journey in Italy: Responsible for all aspects of end-to-end employee lifecycle - including but not limited to onboarding, benefits administration, offboarding for all employees & contractors across Italy
- Support Field Sales hiring in Italy, establishing key processes according to local regulations, but in line with global workflows and practices
- Be a trusted advisor: You’ll guide employees, leaders, and People Partners on complex matters like benefits, parental leave, relocations, and contract changes, helping them navigate challenges with clarity and confidence.
- Protect and future-proof our operations: Ensuring records, contractual changes, and other people-related documentation are processed & up-to-date at all times, allowing for a smooth payroll process.
- Safeguard compliance. You’ll spot risks early, resolve them, and make sure our processes stay in line with Italian regulations, protecting both our people and the business.
- Drive continuous improvement: You won’t just “do” processes, you’ll question them, improve them, and scale them to ensure the best employee experience.
- You have a comprehensive understanding of the entire employee lifecycle: Previous experience in People administration, HR Operations or similar roles gave you a well-rounded understanding as a Senior in this domain.
- You have expertise in Italian labour law, tax, and social security: because scaling responsibly starts with getting the fundamentals right.
- You take ownership: When you see something that can be improved, you don’t wait - you raise it, shape ideas, and collaborate with others to make it happen.
- You’re analytical and solution-oriented: you’ll tackle complex challenges with both data and empathy, always finding the path forward.
- You build strong partnerships: You know how to balance different priorities, communicate clearly, and influence stakeholders with both data and empathy, earning trust while keeping projects moving forward.
- You’re fluent in Italian & English: So that you can collaborate with SumUppers locally and globally.
- You’re diligent and detail-oriented: You follow through with persistence, knowing that careful, consistent work is what makes processes reliable.
- Experience in Freelancer hiring in Italy
