Overview:

As a Senior Analyst in Procurement, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of procurement strategies that align with company objectives. You’ll work closely with procurement leadership to manage sourcing processes, optimize vendor performance, and implement best practices across the organization. This role requires analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a strong understanding of procurement processes to help drive efficiencies and cost savings.

You will: 

  • Support the development and execution of global procurement strategies, aligning with company objectives and financial goals.
  • Assist in managing procurement and sourcing processes, contributing to the lifecycle management from strategy to execution.
  • Collaborate with senior management to gather input on procurement priorities and budget needs, facilitating alignment with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to vendor management functions by evaluating vendor performance and ensuring alignment with procurement strategies.
  • Help establish and refine procurement policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency throughout the organization.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities through analysis of sourcing strategies and value-driven initiatives.
  • Support implementation of cost management strategies to control expenses and enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Promote compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability guidelines across procurement activities.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize procurement processes.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement within the procurement function, fostering innovation and efficiency gains.
  • Contribute to the measurement and monitoring of department KPIs, providing insights on performance.
  • Provide analytical support and insights on best-practice procurement strategies to aid company growth and scaling initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development, training, and mentoring sessions with the strategic sourcing team to build procurement expertise.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic analysis, preferably within procurement, in a high-growth environment or multi-national company.
  • Familiarity with best-in-class procurement practices and an understanding of the procurement lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to use technology and new solutions to enhance procurement operations.
  • Sound business acumen and an understanding of how economic trends can impact procurement.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Experience in supporting cost savings initiatives and contributing to KPI development and performance monitoring.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across teams to drive consensus and business outcomes.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working under pressure with changing priorities.
  • Strong experience in Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
