We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst for our B2B Team in the heart of buzzing Berlin!

As Senior Product Analyst at Babbel your mission is to champion the success of our SME and enterprise customers along with their learners by making product performance measurable and actionable for decision-making. You'll hold a central position in shaping our future direction by empowering both our internal teams and customers with data-driven insights. You'll be instrumental in crafting a forward-looking vision for leveraging predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to drive learner progress and demonstrate the tangible ROI of our language learning programs to our customers.

You will:

  • Develop in-depth understanding of B2B learner and customer behavior in our language learning offerings and in our customer-facing portal to uncover growth levers
  • Define a cohesive conceptual framework to identify gaps and opportunities in our overall reporting tailored to the B2B team and based on the overall business model and strategy
  • Contribute to product and business decisions with insights and input for business cases and foster a data-driven mindset by becoming a reliable and responsive subject matter expert across our wider B2B team
  • Work closely with cross-functional roles such as product, UX research, engineering, and go-to-market teams to drive the strategy for our big value drivers, e.g. demonstrating ROI for language learning programs, and create a vision of how we can leverage innovative methods to forecast and drive learner progress
  • Support with data segmentation to inform automation- and personalisation opportunities through the customer- and learner journey

You have:

  • 5+ years experience working in product analytics, data analytics or data science with previous experience in B2B/SaaS environments and customer-facing data products
  • The ability to partner effectively with stakeholders with diverse backgrounds such as go-to-market- and product teams to explain complex concepts
  • Worked in dynamic cross-functional teams, where you have successfully set up processes proactively to enable data-driven decision making and to maximize  your impact on delivering business value
  • Experience working with a modern cloud-based data-stack such as AWS Athena, Snowflake or Databricks and in collaborating with data engineers and other distributed data roles in complex environments
  • High proficiency in SQL and Python as well as its relevant libraries for analytics
  • Mastered data visualization, having worked with tools like Tableau, Amplitude, or AWS QuickSight and you are able to tell a story with visually appealing dashboards for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Expertise in utilizing statistical models to analyze large datasets, forecast trends and predict behavior

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of ETL pipelines, data ops and related tools like Airflow and AWS Glue is a plus
