Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team based in Vilnius, Lithuania, collaborating daily with product managers, product designers, and engineering teams, both in Vilnius and New York City. You’ll be solving interesting product design challenges as part of your cross-functional product development team, supported by a dynamic product/UX design team.
1stDibs supports buyers and sellers from all around the world. This role in particular will support these diverse user needs, as well as empowering our internal users. This role will draw on your collaboration skills, as well as your core experience in interaction design, product design, prototyping and user research, and design systems. Working with your team, you’ll be creating innovative product design solutions for the specialized challenges of our truly unique marketplace.
This is a hybrid role with flexible expectations to work in our office located in Vilnius, Lithuania..

What you'll do
- You’ll work to deliver product design solutions, from concept to deployment and beyond
- You will collaborate closely with your product and engineering partners to help define product and design features and roadmaps
- You will define and drive alignment with multiple other designers and product teams, transparently and collaboratively, and with a generous sharing mindset
- You will proactively seek opportunities for product improvements and high-value experiments
- You will deliver detailed design specifications, working closely with engineering to actively support development and launch
- You will participate in industry- and user research activities, working with our research and data teams
- You will contribute to the continuing development of our design system and design processes
Who you are
- You have 2+ years of experience designing at a consumer-focused tech company or in-house product design team, or equivalent agency experience
- You have collaborated as part of a design team. You’ve worked with, and contributed to, guidelines for design standards and processes.
- You are confident in presenting and advocating for a clear design rationale for your design choices, both verbally and in your written and visual presentations
- You are passionate about both your design craft and your process, and eager to continuously learn and grow your skills
- You understand the technologies used to create great web and app experiences
- You are curious about and interested in the functions of our business beyond product design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Communication Design, Graphic Design, HCI or related field is a plus
Nice to Have
- E-commerce experience is a plus, especially two-sided marketplaces, or with high-end art, design, or luxury brands.
- Experience with business-facing tool design (B-to-B) is also a plus.

- Gross salary range of 4550 - 5320 EUR per month.
A portfolio of relevant work is required for consideration, telling the story of how you worked with your teams to solve specific product design and business challenges. It should illustrate your specific contributions, how you drove the design process, and how you followed through as your solution became a live product.
