Senior Product Director, Easylink

Role summary - Payoneer is looking for an experienced product head for its China payment license entity specialized in cross-border payments industry. We are looking for a product head with strong and comprehensive exposure and leadership in cross-border e-commerce and cross-border payments. The position holder will be directly reporting to the CEO of China license entity.

What you’ll do

  • Lead Product Development in China license entity including building and defining clear product roadmap in identified strategic and priority areas by the company
  • Own Product Commercialization by working with business origination teams to create innovative and leading product offerings and propositions to support the China license entity’s business
  • Advocate Appropriate Product Governance by closely working with internal stakeholders such as legal, compliance and operations to ensure safe and sound delivery of product offerings and propositions
  • Explore and define product strategy, product vision, roadmap, and OKRs for China license entity
  • Lead product development from ideation through to final delivery and commercialization for China license entity
  • Work closely with Payoneer Greater China product team to ensure the alignment with Payoneer China business requirements
  • Work closely with the leadership team and engage in business strategy and decision-making processes
  • Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and deliver product solutions that increase commercialization and growth
  • Own the prioritization work with the development team to align delivery with the overall product roadmap
  • Assist with identification and exploration of strategic business enhancing opportunities
  • Explore and implement systems and tools that enhance operational and financial performance
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day product management works and conducts
  • Growing and developing a talented team of product managers, cultivate a highly inclusive, collaborative, and results-oriented culture

Who you are 

  • 10+ years of product management experience in China banking, cross border payments, payment regulations and FX. Project management and engineering background would be a plus
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in team management
  • BA in Engineering, CS, Economics or Finance
  • Deep understanding of Chinese payment and cross-border payment systems, regulatory compliance, AML and industry best practices
  • Experienced in leading to design and build China PSP’s RMB/FX cross-border payment products and platform
  • In-depth knowledge of payment technologies and trends in China
  • Ability to make decisions by considering both the long-term product vision and short-term growth requirements
  • Rich experience in project management and strong communication skills with the R&D team
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Deep understanding of product management including the ability to connect business and product strategy in order to drive meaningful business growth, and understanding user journey and behaviors to quantify right product design and development strategy
  • Strong leadership ability to lead the product team to work and collaborate smoothly
  • Professional level in English, both reading and writing
