How you can help make a better world of workWe are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our AI Platform team within the Data Intelligence camp. This is a key position where the primary users of your portfolio will be internal Culture Amp staff and AI agents developing AI features for our product experiences, while you will also support our thousands of customers who use Culture Amp each day in their workplaces.
This role is for those that care about the tech, and love enabling internal teams, but also bring strong customer empathy. To succeed you will need to be technically conversant, but keep your focus firmly on the customer impact and commercial outcomes. You will also be a strategic thinker who can identify and execute on force-multiplying opportunities, and be capable of influencing others to join you on that journey.
What you’ll spend your time doing- Defining our path forward: You’ll own the roadmap for our internal AI platform capabilities, focusing on areas like LLM evaluations, classification & generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and agentic workflows. You will ensure these tools are not just technically sound, but easily adoptable by other product teams.
- Operationalising AI governance: You will lead awareness and implementation of platform guardrails, data privacy processes, and security best practices to ensure our AI is as responsible as it is powerful.
- Collaboration & communication: Serve as the daily point of contact for a broad range of stakeholders including customers, engineers, data scientists, product managers, sales teams, security, and legal. You will translate complex technical constraints into clear, commercial trade-offs and tangible outcomes. This will involve creating artefacts that effectively communicate both the rationale ('why') behind investment decisions and the specifics ('what') of the proposed solutions.
- Product lifecycle management: Driving adoption of platform services and products with other product teams and retiring legacy components to ensure a healthy tech stack.
- Technical roots: You have demonstrable experience in one or more fields such as data engineering, software engineering, ML engineering, or data science, working within cloud-based environments.
- Emerging product mastery: You may already have some years of experience in Product Management, or you might be an experienced technical leader looking for your first bonafide product management role.
- AI domain fluency: You have some hands-on experience or a deep understanding of AI development including prompt engineering, RAG systems, agentic workflows, and the nuances of validating/evaluating generative and classification AI products.
- Security and privacy advocacy: You bring a genuine enthusiasm for data privacy. You view security regulations and guardrails not as hurdles, but as essential components of a high-quality and trustworthy AI platform.
- Balance of technical depth with commercial impact: You are technically conversant enough to lead engineers and data scientists, but you are someone who keeps the focus firmly on outcomes. You can measure success by how effectively your platform unblocks commercial value for the business.
- Research skills: You have experience collecting qualitative and quantitative inputs, drawing on analytical skills, intuition and empathy to find non-obvious patterns and distill into actionable insights.
- Communication skills: You have a proven ability to distill complex technical or operational concepts into accessible narratives for diverse audiences - both internally with staff and externally with customers and prospects.
- Curiosity & passion: You are what we call a "people geek" - someone who is genuinely curious about the intersection of data, human behavior, and organisational culture.
