Who We Are:

Wayfair believes everyone deserves a home they love, and that furnishing your home should be a source of fun, not anxiety. Our product team plays a crucial role in making this vision a reality for millions of people around the world. Partnering with engineering, UX design, analytics, and business partners across Wayfair, our product team ensures that we’re building technology that solves important customer problems in elegant, scalable, measurable ways. We have a modern tech stack including sophisticated capabilities around AI, data science, multivariate testing, and personalization. We’re a highly collaborative, supportive team that values learning, psychological safety, and intentional career development.

Wayfair is seeking a strategic and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to join our Growth Superpod, where you’ll lead the end-to-end vision and execution of acquisition and activation experiences that power our customer lifecycle across web and app. In this highly visible role, you’ll own the global experience for acquiring new users to our email, SMS, and push notification programs—key drivers of free traffic, retention, and Monthly Active Users (MAU). You’ll craft seamless, high-converting entry points across Wayfair’s portfolio of brands and storefronts, optimize onboarding and welcome journeys, and partner closely with design, engineering, CRM, and analytics to drive meaningful engagement from first touch through long-term retention. You will have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge AI and personalization technologies to craft a best-in-class user experience that activates and retains loyal customers.  This role requires a candidate with a comprehensive understanding of complex, cross-functional systems across multiple domains and a passion for creating data-driven, personalized experiences.

 What You’ll Do

  • Use data to understand customer needs and behaviors; map those against business objectives, and transform that knowledge into AI-powered product enhancements
  • Build client agnostic backends that solve for the needs of customers across all of our platforms: iOS and Android apps, mobile web and desktop applications
  • Define a broad and complex product strategy, independently own and craft a sequenced set of outcomes and solutions over a 12+ month time horizon
  • Build and maintain roadmaps for your product(s); partner with user experience design and usability, analytics, engineering, technical program managers, other product managers, and stakeholders to translate your vision and roadmap into reality
  • Drive measurable results and/or learnings using testing best practices; monitor performance of your focus area

We're A Match Because You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years experience working in product management. Experience in ecommerce, and at companies that own a significant tech stack highly valued.
  • An ownership mentality. You’ve autonomously set a ~12 month vision for your domain, prioritizing a body of work that optimizes for customer outcomes. You’ve challenged yourself and others to proactively improve your product, its reliability, and plans for its future state. You propose adjustments to priorities as needed, and take responsibility for outcomes, celebrating team wins and surfacing learning moments openly.
  • Good judgment. You manage risk, know when to pivot, can assess multiple paths forward, and use data to inform and advocate for the right next steps
  • Proven results. You have experience moving the needle on KPIs. You’ve unlocked customer value through strong product discovery and technical delivery. You’ve partnered to get it done, and you have a proven track record of sustaining and maintaining a high bar for your product space, even post launch.
  • Experience building creative yet scalable solutions. You know how to balance short term learnings with long term solutioning. Everything you build is a series of tradeoffs, and your experience to date has helped you fine tune balancing those tradeoffs given a set of constraints.
  • Team leadership. You autonomously manage teams, have influenced cross-functional stakeholders, and know how to navigate multi-domain technical complexity. You drive a culture of learning, radical candor, process creation/adoption within you team(s) and your broader Pod / SuperPod
