Who we are:The Global Supplier technology team is responsible for building the scalable platforms for the supplier ecosystem in Wayfair. It starts with establishment of supplier entities, their catalog journey, advertisement, pricing & order management. This platform provides all necessary accelerants for supplier business growth like supplier ads, business insights & recommendations. We build scalable platforms to meet the demands of customers and suppliers alike.
What you'll do:This position will involve close collaboration with technical teams based in India, as well as leadership teams spread across the US and EU. The role will require strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to navigate the complexities of global compliance challenges in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Global Trade Compliance and Product Compliance in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (legal, tech, operations, and business teams) to meet Wayfair’s global business needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between the product teams and key stakeholders across legal, compliance, and business units, including leadership teams in the US and EU. Ensure alignment on product goals, priorities, and timelines.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor two atomic teams focused on Global Trade Compliance and Product Compliance. Work closely with tech teams in India to ensure the delivery of high-quality compliance solutions that meet legal requirements.
- Product Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment. Ensure successful, timely delivery of new features and enhancements that improve compliance and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain Tech teams to ensure seamless integration of compliance features into Wayfair's broader tech stack and operational workflows.
- Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on key product success metrics (KPIs) related to compliance outcomes, product performance, and team effectiveness.
- Travel & International Collaboration: Regular travel (a few times a year) to Boston to collaborate with global teams, share updates, and drive key initiatives forward.
We Are a Match Because You Have:
- Experience: 12-15 years of experience in product management.
- Experience in driving scalable enterprise tech solutions across cross-functional teams is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software development processes, agile methodologies, and working with tech teams to build scalable solutions.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams across different geographies, including the US, EU, and India.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex compliance challenges into actionable product solutions. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and manage complex projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Law, or similar). An advanced degree / MBA is a plus
