The role

We are looking for our next product leader who will identify opportunities to improve our supply chain network planning and logistics system capabilities. As the Senior Product Manager, you will work with our logistics stakeholders, product analysts, and engineering teams to guide and shape how we plan our customer delivery options and optimize the logistics cost by automating the manual processes. As a passionate product manager yourself, most of your time will be spent building end-to-end delivery network planning systems and algorithms that will deliver our customers a great delivery experience. It is important for us to provide each and every customer with the best possible delivery proposition that suits their lifestyle and meet their convenience. At the same time, we want to optimize for our operational costs, resulting in not only optimizing the margin for the company but also optimizing value in the long term for our customers.  You will manage complex projects that impact other departments and position yourself as an expert in your domain for the other teams.

The role is based at HelloFresh’s Berlin HQ office location.

What you’ll do
  • Envision how our logistics demand planning and distribution decision making processes should look in future and establish a roadmap towards this vision in alignment with our stakeholders.
  • Discover business cases/initiatives that will contribute to the product vision, and prioritize these initiatives by identifying the opportunity sizes associated with each initiative
  • Define what capabilities will be needed to deliver the business value and how we will measure success using a KPI Driver Tree.
  • Design and validate solutions with data scientists, UX designers, and the engineering team in an iterative way while bringing your users with you along the journey.
  • Deliver the designed solution by supporting the engineering teams and track how your product metrics are evolving over time.
  • Collaborate with your stakeholders to ensure both operationally and technologically we are aligned on the vision and moving in towards the vision in alignment.
  • Perform experimentation to evaluate the impact of the proposed solution on the company’s north star metric and other customer centric metrics
  • Break down complex requirements into Epics, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria and prioritize accordingly, building a backlog for the engineering squad
  • Support the end-user testing of new features in order to facilitate the roll-out

What you’ll bring
  • You can demonstrate the ability to manage technical products from inception to launch, building simple and scalable solutions in collaboration with a team of software engineers.
  • Balance between analytical acumen and business understanding in collaborating with commercial stakeholders to drive insightful and robust business cases/initiatives.
  • Passion for big data combined with a deep understanding of how data could be a driving force for building highly effective decision support systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a curious and self-starter mindset and ability to document processes, write product requirements documents and develop business models to cater to different stakeholder level communication.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to lead user research sessions and have an inclination on contributing towards the user interface designs
  • Demonstrated aptitude to adapt to a fast-moving and constantly evolving environment, and being able to effectively prioritize multiple requests.
  • Experience in the supply chain domain, preferably around logistics demand planning and customer delivery experience, is preferred.
