About the Role
Product Managers build valuable products for customers by focusing our engineering and design teams on the problems that matter most. Responsibilities
- Drive product results (growth, differentiation, customer delight) by working closely with 5-10 engineers and designers on a meaningful problem
- Study usage data, read support tickets, and talk to customers on a weekly basis
- Help our sales team win strategic deals or expansion opportunities
- Align engineering and design teams on the right problems with clear, written communication
- Help our sales team win, retain, and expand our most strategic customers by shipping winning products
- Shape the product function at Mixpanel — what it's responsible for, how it interfaces with other teams and how it'll develop over time
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- 5+ years of hands-on product management experience (working with engineers and designers to build software products for customers)
- A track record of impact to business results, ideally in a B2B environment
- Fluency in data analysis using tools like Mixpanel, SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc.
- Experience doing user research and working with customers to test product hypotheses
- An ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative signals to drive clarity on what to build
Bonus Points For
- Being a founder or a founding member of a company
- Experience writing production-grade software
- Experience designing products using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Abstract
Compensation
The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. You can view our benefits offerings here.Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
