Senior Product Manager, Supplier Advertising Experience

This role is responsible for the supplier-facing experience and underlying services helping suppliers understand and maximize the value of their advertising campaigns. At Wayfair, Advertising empowers suppliers to boost visibility of their products and brands on our platform. One of the biggest growth drivers for advertising will be enabling tens of thousands of suppliers to set up and run effective campaigns regardless of their prior advertising know-how. This Senior Product Manager will lead our efforts to help suppliers set up and manage their advertising spend on Wayfair.
As a Senior Product Manager on the Supplier Advertising team, you will partner with business, finance, data science, experience design, machine learning science, and peer teams within Advertising to grow advertiser engagement and participation. This is a highly visible role on a highly visible team where you will collaborate with leaders from across Global Supplier Technology and across Wayfair.
What You’ll Do:- Leverage a deep understanding of our customers, business strategy, and KPIs to define and drive the vision for advertiser experience and capabilities used by Wayfair suppliers.
- Own roadmap planning and manage execution with dedicated Engineering, Machine Learning Science, Experience Design, and Analytics teams.
- Influence leaders across Commercial and Global Supplier Tech to drive supplier success, predictability, and trust while influencing our go to market strategy across Supplier Advertising.
- Use a combination of user experience and data science to optimize our portfolio to improve supplier outcomes, grow advertiser participation, and increase ad spend.
- Define product requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams across departments, including partners across Global Supplier Tech, Customer Tech, and other domains within advertising (footprint, ad serving).
- Drive timely and smooth execution across Engineering, Machine Learning Science, Experience Design, and Analytics teams.
- Evolve our strategy as we learn and adjust our business goals, and work cross-functionally to continually improve velocity of insights and experimentation.
- Support team growth by mentoring junior team members, sharing best practices, and identifying / driving process improvements.
- 7+ years experience in product management with a proven track record of impact.
- Experience working in digital advertising or retail media networks.
- Experience coaching and growing junior PMs preferred.
- Excellent quantitative skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights, prioritized roadmap, and requirements.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the what and why behind your product decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Track record of effective partnership with engineering, analytics, UX / UI design, and user research.
- Ability to operate both tactically and strategically, nimbly switching between them.
- Ability to bring clarity to an ambiguous problem space.
- Ability to keep up in highly technical conversations.
- Ability to work with and influence senior leaders (Director+) across various functional areas.
