About the Role
Mixpanel's product marketing team is responsible for creating messaging, content, and programs that drive awareness with our target audience, influence purchase decisions, and help users achieve maximum value from our products. We are looking for a dynamic and creative Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on prospective customers. This person will collaborate with demand generation to drive demand, enhance website conversions, and craft high-level messaging for sales.
This individual will contribute to defining Mixpanel’s marketing strategy and aligning stakeholders across the company to deliver on that strategy. They should be adept at bringing the voice of the customer into the room, partnering with product, and storytelling. This role involves thinking about the bigger picture of how product marketing programs can impact the business.
Responsibilities
- Crafting compelling positioning and messaging that clearly articulates the value and unique advantages of our products to prospective customers, emphasizing storytelling.
- Support the development and execution of innovative strategies to drive demand and website conversions, ensuring alignment with our overall business goals and market needs.
- Conduct market and competitive research to understand prospective customer needs, preferences, and pain points, integrating these insights into our marketing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to gather feedback and ensure a seamless customer experience. Lead sales enablement efforts.
- Partner with demand generation to implement targeted marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement, utilizing a mix of digital, event, and content marketing tactics.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, leveraging data in Mixpanel to make informed decisions and optimize future efforts.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials and channels. Develop and execute a strategic content calendar.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Drive monetization and expansion initiatives, identifying opportunities to increase revenue through new channels, upselling, and cross-selling strategies.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Bachelor's degree. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the B2B SaaS sector.
- Proven ability to support the development and execution of successful marketing strategies for software products or services.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in market research and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead through influence.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a customer-first mindset.
Compensation
The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. You can view our benefits offerings here.Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
