As a Senior Program Manager, you'll lead portfolio management alongside the Go-To-Market (GTM) leader, evaluating new demands, building business cases, and prioritizing initiatives for strategic portfolio roadmaps. Collaborating with GTM leadership and the program teams ensuring seamless portfolio planning, resource onboarding, and outcome achievement.
Your oversight will guarantee strategic alignment of program delivery while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. You'll also closely partner with APMO leaders to establish and evolve processes, tools, and methodologies, including demand management, portfolio oversight, and effective communication strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end program structure and planning for GTM initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment, accountability, and collaboration for successful delivery.
- Connect teams' initiatives to overarching business objectives, inspect progress, and optimize plans based on continuous learning.
- Communicate status and drive executive alignment on key strategic decisions, orchestrating content development for C-suite reviews.
- Unblock issues, provide a systematic means to track execution, and assist the Go-to-Market team with large, complex programs and partnership goals.
- Be a resource for ideation, innovation, program management, and lead strategic programs contributing to Pure business growth.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospection, learning, and optimization for Lean Execution.
- Guide teams in selecting and implementing Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SAFe, Lean, and Kanban methodologies for optimal project execution.
- Support GTM programs by leveraging past knowledge, aligning IT initiatives with market strategies, and defining clear business requirements.
- Lead planning and resource onboarding for new projects, ensuring streamlined initiation processes and efficient execution.
- Ensure adherence to APMO, IT, and corporate standards, proactively assess and mitigate potential risks, and guide recovery strategies when needed.
- Provide regular portfolio updates during steering committee meetings, furnishing leadership with insights for informed decision-making.
- Contribute to establishing and maturing the APMO, shaping processes for improved project management practices, and manage projects hands-on during resource constraints for successful delivery.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of GTM strategies, sales processes, and customer lifecycle management.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in portfolio program management or management consulting, demonstrating successful leadership in managing complex projects.
- Proficiency and proven experience in implementing various methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Lean, and Kanban.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
- Ability to align GTM initiatives with organizational goals, demonstrating a strategic mindset in project planning and execution.
- Experienced at implementing a comprehensive metrics plan to evaluate portfolio performance, ensure alignment with strategic objectives and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Able to create and implement a comprehensive communications plan.
- Proficiency in proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies across project lifecycles.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to effectively engage and influence senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Competency in organizational change management, driving transformational initiatives and navigating organizational shifts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying issues and providing effective solutions.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle ambiguity, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- PMP certification is desirable.
- SAFe Program Consultant certification, SAFe Agilist certification, Scrum Master certification, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner highly desirable.

The annual base salary range is: $167,000-$251,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
