As a Senior Project Manager at AKQA Sweden, you will be able to play a crucial role in driving the success of large, complex impactful assignments. Working across four distinct areas, Production, Marketing & Comms Projects, Product Development and Innovation. Our Senior Project Managers are comfortable across all areas but have clear expertise in at least one.

  • Production: Leading complex film shoots, large-scale asset production for campaigns, or production of OOH assets at scale.
  • Projects: Leading international marketing campaigns in multiple markets, delivering digital and physical experiences.
  • Product: Leading complex design/technology-driven products, such as website re-platforming, App development for new revenue streams, or other large-scale product management.
  • Innovation: Implementing cutting-edge technologies and experimenting to find effective market fit.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Deliver work focused on incredible customer experiences including (but not limited to) websites, e-commerce, mobile apps, emerging technologies, films, products or events, enabling the whole AKQA project team.
  • Oversee the successful setup, structure, and end-to-end delivery of multiple engagements involving technical, brand, marketing stakeholders, or environmental complexities rollout plans in multiple countries, physical construction, or fixed deadlines. 
  • Successfully manage clients, partners, and multiple suppliers, to ensure the best outcome for both clients and AKQA.
  • Encourage and engage in cross-department collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
  • Tailor and communicate an appropriate project approach by methodology or project phase.
  • Define and agree on the Scope of Work with both internal teams and client/s, to ensure engagements are clear and unambiguous in approach and how the work will be delivered.
  • Balance specific client demands with project realities and reliably close the loop on all open issues in a timely manner.
  • Manages the administrative and functional aspects of a project ensuring resource needs are proactively identified and met through effective budget and resource management.  

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • Significant experience of managing a diverse service delivery function in a fast-paced environment implementing innovative, interactive and consumer-focused solutions.
  • Comfortable in leading client sessions, facilitating challenging discussions with senior client stakeholders and building long-term relationships.
  • Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies and when to use them.
  • Certification in Scrum, Lean or other delivery methodologies is a benefit, but not a requirement.
