We’re looking for an inspired, motivated and experienced Senior Quality Assurance. This role reports and works closely with QA lead, QA Subject Matter Experts, other QA members, project managers, designers, and developers to ensure QA standards and client satisfaction are delivered thought-out the

account.  A Senior QA brings analytical thinking and support to the team and QA lead on many tasks.

You will

  • Perform any of the QA tasks with barely any guidance
  • Plan, conduct and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects
  • Be co-responsible for the quality of projects based on the requirements and design specifications
  • Be co-responsible with QA Lead to attend, lead and/or organize meetings on behalf of team
  • Promote and evaluate QA values and principles not only for the QA team but for everyone in the company and our clients
  • Co-responsible with QA lead to work and motivate other team members in a team-oriented and collaborative environment with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Co-responsible with QA Lead to communicate test results, issues, and risks to project team members, project managers, and QA management through the different channels
  • Co-responsible with QA Lead to promote effective communication, a sense of participation and involvement amongst QA members
  • Be co-responsible  with the QA Lead to guide the QA effort which should include, but is not limited to:
    • Assist with test data identification
    • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans
    • Writing and maintaining test cases/scripts
    • Create traceability matrix documents based upon project requirements o Create checklist documentation based upon project requirements o Performing functional and exploratory testing
    • Effectively communicating statuses o Develop test design documents to cover requirements o Plan and schedule test activities to ensure functional, system, and technical specifications o Apply industry standard testing methodology, strategies and industry best practices
  • Be co-responsible with the QA Lead for the following:
    • Create defect tickets and track issues to resolution and risk analysis of said issues
    • Report creation and related metrics at different levels
    • Oversee, delegate and coordinate work to other QA Associates and apprentices, as needed.
    • Develop junior staff members
    • Create and execute regression tests based on design specifications and requirements
    • Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks related to QA
  • Be co-responsible with the QA Lead of developing an exceptional understanding of QA estimations and proactively help on said estimations for the team
  • Identify with the QA lead areas where automation tools can be applied for the benefit of the project
  • Have a vast understanding of testing methodologies and strategies to be a gatekeeper so he/she can determine when to raise flags
  • Support the QA lead on educating the rest of the QA team on industry standard methodologies and strategies to help the rest of the team becoming gatekeepers
  • Work under pressure under different circumstances such as tight schedules and critical projects for clients, is capable of multitasking successfully
  • Be co-responsible with QA lead to work closely with other team leaders to ensure the success of the projects and all other leadership related tasks
  • Support different team members to define and understand functional & non-functional, new or ongoing project requirements

 

You have

  • English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation)
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • 3+ years of experience working with local and offshore teams
  • 3+ years of experience working and managing QA for email campaigns 
  • 1+ year experience in Agile Methodologies for software development
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows or OS software.
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, project management, business, or related field
  • ISTQB Certification, another QA related certificate
  • Mastery of office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrador
  • knowledge of collaboration and issue-tracking tools such as Box, Jira, Confluence
